hmmmm alright i guess

alright heres what i suggest you do. take a break from this series for a little bit. not stop doing it thats not what im saying. Just LEARN how to animate an action scene or get more creative with them and what not. That is what this whole series is lacking. Your a fine animator and make it looks all professional but the action sequences need to be bumped up a couple notches. like all i say here was he walks up to a guy chops his head off and keeps walking.....very anticlimatic wouldn't you say? i mean you can have the guy atleast try to put up a fight OR you can have him completely chop the guy up into peices and blow him up or something i unno but you need to get creative when it comes to fight scenes thats all im suggesting. what makes a good flash series isn't all "dependent" on story line there has to be more too it. If you can improve your action scene by next episode i assure you this series will become a greater hit. good luck with future projects

it wasn't terrible but it wasn't good either. I guess you have the right idea though this was just too slow paced. the animation was poor too if that was improved this probably would have done much better. As for voice acting i can't really tell i don't speak that language lol but it sounded alright. I just read your authors comments so i can see why your animation was maybe dumbed down. Well the concept WILL work in the future if you improve your animation. The jokes i didn't find funny but maybe its just not my humor. Also id stay away from putting live action clips into flash like you did in the beginning it just looks less professional and it gives bad reviewers more material to insult you with. One last thing. This idea concept has already been used by final fantasy A++ (already referenced in movie) so i don't know how much success you could get following someone elses idea. i'm not saying its bad but it would be pretty tough to do better then the original creator using his idea thats all.

Thank you for being constructive. The more I think about it, the more I believe the pacing may be more my fault than that of the grammar, but not having the option to rethink and redo any scenes (due to time constraint) didn't help. Thank you also for reading my comments. Even when I made this, it wasn't my best animation, and I can certainly do better animation now. I'd never really thought about live action stuff before this and seeing as you're not the first to bring this up, I think I will take your advice and not use live action stuff in future movies. I never expected to do better than FF A+, I don't think I possibly could right now. Frankly, I didn't expect it to get this much publicity and I think it is a bit overrated to be on the front page. I'm just glad some people are seeing my other work. I appreciate your review, thanks.

this is pretty sweet man

theres one thign clear here you can sure animate alright. don't know why this isn't scored higher its pretty good. Id say if you going to make future projects try to get better sprites and clear backrounds because when you did zoom in shots it looked pretty pixelated. all and all i liked this better see more from you :P

well i do commend you on taking turd of the week away from those assholes haha. what kinda of school project did you make this for? This video almost doesn't seem like its possible to be relavent to anything school related lol. by the looks of this it probably took one class i know how it is i used to do the same when there were flash on our school computers lol

creative yet uncreative. The idea of making a flash about how to make a good flash for newgrounds viewers as been done to death but you just put a different spin on it. i do applaud that one reviewer though MasterSub-Link which is a perfect example of what you just pointed out in this flash. It is true that the popular hits automatically get high ratings even if their sequals are bad or not as good as the past ones. animation was alright for this little too much tweening though. Artistcally it had its pros and cons. your artwork on the other peoples characters were good but on your own was bad which i would think you'd want it to be the other way around if i were the animator lol. All and all i think you got a decent flash and desirved that front page spot. maybe not because it was the greatest flash but because it tells the flaws in the newgrounds rating system

I've been reading other reviews to see anyone who might badmouth this video and i found one that is a bit different then the other stupidity ones. OhmygodIaminafire states that the only reason this is doing as good as it is, is because of its amazing graphics. well i don't believe that is true. graphics are surely a great way to grab people's attention but that alone isn't what makes a flash great. He says that this flash series is nothing but well angle shots and great pictures with no real creativity put into it. Even so that fact is that this series is "different" then anything else on newgrounds. Phllips could probably hire anyone he wants and make a creative flash and still get the same results but in my opinion that wouldn't right at all. What i admire about adam is that he is able to put this all together by himself. As you can see this movie eries popularity is growing more and more from every new flash video so he has to be doing something right. Even writen in his author's comments he had a professional work with him. I guess what im trying to say here is those of you bad reviewers who either vote low because of spite or because you can't get past maybe one little flaw seriously put a little more effort into your review. A movie like this made from flash doesn't desire any less then a 7 and even that is pretty low.
good luck do you adam in the future and i hope your brackenwood turns into one large movie production someday. Heck maybe even be able to watch this in theaters or on the big screen :P

omg that is the most irritating song ever!

other then the song the animation was pretty money. i just turned off my volume to watch the whole thing so i wasn't too quick to judge lol. loved the fbf fighting scene keep up the good work. Id maybe pick a different song or artist next time though lol

art was great but i can't get by the fact that there was no actual movement. There could have atleast bin some voice acting for this type of movie. alright sound. Overall pretty tasteful but not my cup of tea. The animation part of the video felt like it was lacking too much for me.

[Xombie Chapter 10]

way way waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to short

compared to all the other zombie chapters the newers felt like they kept getting shorter and shorter. This one felt like you just wanted to end the series altogether rather then put any effort in the ending at all. I'm not saying it was bad but if this was a possible ending to a series, or atleast this one, then you want to make it the best out of all of them. other then that everything else was up to the standards of xombie animations.

spotless animation, great sound and flow through the whole thing and was just a masterpiece altogether. A rare movie to find nowadays here on newgrounds. good job keep it out ive always liked your work
